Rare reliquary in the form of a small textile book, finely embroidered on both sides with polychrome floral motifs with the Marian monogram “M”. The booklet is closed with a silk ribbon and opens like a missal or a devotional notebook.
The interior is lined with a delicate frame, lined with ivory moiré fabric.
Description
The interior side presents a reliquary under glass, in the Napoleon III style, on a sea green velvet background. It contains four classified relics, decorated with twisted gold thread, mini pearls and a gold frame:

St. Ignatius (Saint Ignatius of Loyola)
St. Chantal (Saint Jeanne-Françoise de Chantal)
St. Mary. Mary (Saint Mary Magdalene)
The parcels are set in floral decorations of pearls and gold thread, with carefully cut handwritten cartouches.
Condition:
Very good condition. Clean textile box, embroidery intact, original glass not cracked.
Slight veil of wear on the interior velvet, without alteration of the decoration. Relics perfectly legible and intact.
