"Restoration Period Mahogany Bookcase"
Elegant bookcase in Cuban mahogany and Cuban mahogany veneer opening with two doors and a drawer on the front. The doors are divided into three panels including two glazed panels in original antique glass separated by a crosspiece with protruding molding and a mahogany panel. A large plinth drawer surmounts two mahogany feet. The sides are smooth and without any cracks. The bottoms are in solid oak. Four shelves with mahogany veneer edges line the interior of the bookcase. A cremone bolt lock with its original key as well as two brass entries equip this bookcase. Very pretty and elegant work from the beginning of the 19th century!
