Antique Louis-Philippe-era bookcase, this piece bears the maker's stamp: GROHE A PARIS.
Grohe Gillaume (1805-1885) during his long career became the official supplier to King Louis-Philippe, Emperor Napoleon III (Charles Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte), and Empress Eugénie.
The bookcase has been restored in our workshop: stripped and repainted, it features high-quality locks, as can be seen in the photo.
The piece is made of rosewood, the internal shelves are adjustable via a wooden ladder, and the interior is made of solid oak.
The dimensions are: width 3.3 meters, height 2.45 meters, depth of the lower part 65 cm, depth of the upper part 45 cm.
