French Display Case In Exotic Marquetry And Mother-of-pearl – 19th Century
Elegant 19th-century French display cabinet, made of precious wood finely marquetry with exotic geometric motifs, inlaid with mother-of-pearl and richly decorated with gilded chiseled bronzes. The front has a large curved glass pane, while the sides feature superb curved and beveled glass. The interior has a mirror at the back, highlighting the objects on display and accentuating the depth of the display cabinet. High-quality work, representative of French cabinetmaking from the second half of the 19th century. Very good overall condition, with a beautiful patina on the wood and bronze.
