Large book (37 x 25 cm) with a very beautiful contemporary binding with the arms of the Parliament of Rouen in the middle of a scattering of fleurs-de-lis.

The four corners have been restored.

This type of binding decorated books given to students of the Royal Archiepiscopal College of Bourbon of the Society of Jesus during a prize distribution organized every year by the Sovereign Court of the Parliament of Normandy (see page 3 of this catalog: http://www.librairie-bertran-rouen.fr/V_Catal/catalogue_normandie.pdf).
