Cup On Pedestal In Slip, Late 19th Century.
Rare barbotine cup on pedestal, late 19th century. Probably Massier or in the Massier style, the cup imitating a pink flower, the yellow and green center resting on a foot applied with flowering branches, with natural polychrome decoration, the circular base. Height: 22.5 cm / Diameter of the base: 13 cm / Diameter of the cup: 24 cm. Very good condition of the whole. Note: some small firing defects but nothing serious. A magnificent piece, very spectacular, characteristic of this period when the representations of nature were very fashionable!!! We find this style of decoration in the book by Pierre Faveton "Les Barbotines".
