Slender cypress trees dominate the composition on the left, painted in shades of dark blue-green. Under the trees, a multitude of colorful flowers. On the right, a low wall of pinkish-beige stone, pierced by two blue arches, perhaps a ruin or garden structure (aqueduct or decorative wall). The overall effect is one of a Mediterranean garden in spring or summer.
