Emile Taburet, jeweler, exhibited in 1880 at the exhibition of the Union central des arts décoratifs. His hallmark was struck out in 1881. He joined forces with his son-in-law, Georges Boin, an antique dealer, under the name "Boin-Taburet" around 1880. Together, they exhibited at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1889, where they won numerous medals.
