"Book-shaped Box With Straw Marquetry, Early 19th Century "
Rare and beautiful box in straw marquetry in the shape of a book. The decor is refined and despite some missing parts visible in the photos the condition remains very good. The interior reveals a mirror with a small crack on the side but very original. The body of the box is divided into three compartments, one of which is decorated with a Languedoc-style cross. A beautiful object of curiosity, rare for its book shape, in good original condition and without restorations. Dimensions: 15.4cm by 10.5cm and 2.5cm high.
