An almond green satin border, mounted as a small period tablecloth and made up of several sewn pieces dating from the Louis XV period. Probably from a court dress, the decoration is Japanese-style with undulating flowering branches in a river. The weave of the design is on a silver twill background with salmon flowers. The lining is made up of parallel sewn bands of period green and cream moiré faille (soiling on the lining). Note a few discreet micro stains on the front, otherwise no holes or major defects. Good stable condition.
Dimensions: 152 cm x 70 cm.
