"Large Art Deco Period Lamp By Etling"
Rare Art Deco period lamp in large pressed molded glass. The ovoid base is lit in its center.
A flight of swallows in relief draws the belly, standing out against a typical Art Deco geometric lineage. The base is topped with a bilobed hat, supported by a delicate wrought iron frame.
The same decoration of swallows and curves in relief adorns the whole; this is lit by a central bulb.
This mushroom-shaped lamp is very elegant and bright.
The alternation of matte and transparent areas as well as the strong relief of the birds give it a "kinetic" momentum and a great modernity.
