Superb and elegant terracotta sculpture by Amedeo Gennarelli, born in 1881 in Naples and died in 1943, Italian sculptor of Art Deco. Amedeo Gennarelli was a student of Francesco Jerace. In 1909, he emigrated to France where he settled in Paris. He is famous for his female nudes. He exhibited his first work in 1913 at the Salon of the Society of French Artists, where he exhibited regularly until 1936. For his work, he used materials such as bronze, marble, ceramics and sometimes wood. Some of his works were manufactured and distributed by the art publisher and founder Jules Levi-Lehmann and by Arthur Goldscheider. This bust of a young woman is very sensual, her head slightly turned to the side. Old waxed patina for this piece from the first half of the 20th century, signed on the back. quality work in good condition and conservation, charming and decorative object.
