Vintage 18k gold, cabochon sapphire and diamond ring – circa 1980 Vintage ring dating from the 1980s, with a structured design typical of the period, combining chiseled volumes and contrasting plays between polished yellow gold and white gold settings. At its center, an elegant natural oval-shaped cabochon sapphire (approx. 0.60 ct), with a beautiful, intense, deep midnight blue color, is perfectly integrated into a composition that is both geometric and organic. The central stone is framed on either side by two sections paved with small brilliant diamonds (estimated total weight of approximately 0.15 ct), set in hollow and highlighted by an undulating gold relief. The whole subtly evokes an architectural line inspired by late modernism. A sculptural, very stylish piece, to be worn alone as a statement piece.
