White marble, deep beige patina

Very well preserved overall, with visible chips along the edges
This sculpture has been authenticated by an expert in Classical archaeology (Member of the European Chamber of Art Experts and the French Union of Professional Experts).

Provenance
This stele/altar was formerly displayed in the entrance hall of the Château Suffren, a family residence in the historic center of Saint-Tropez.
