An Anglo-saxon Bronze Cloisonné Enamel Brooch 10th-11th Century Ad

A very beautiful 10-th-11th century A.D. A gilt bronze disc brooch with seven radiating lobes or lugs to the rim; each lug with inset of blue, black and white enamel (one partly remains and one missing); main body divided into six, all filled with blue and green enamel.
The cloisonné technique utilises compartments constructed from wire then infilled with powdered, coloured ‘glass’ and fired.
