TABLEWARE-EARTHWARE ETIENNE NOËL DIEULEFÎT FRANCE CIRCA 1930 IMPORTANT COVERED TRIPOD DISH GLAZE EARTH Large covered tripod dish and its underside in glazed earthenware by Etienne Noel in Dieulefît, in the Drôme. Fretel (upper grip), handles and feet glazed in brown ochre. Upper part, dish and underside glazed in yellow ochre. Lid with 4 fretted projections dominated by an oblong dome served by an ogive fretel. Dish and body also have fretted edges. Glazed earthenware from Dieulefît, one of the historic strongholds of this specialty in France. Very good condition (see descriptive photos). Weight: 5.305 kg.
