Eugène Edmond Thiery (1875-1961) was a student of Jean-Léon Gérome (1824-1904) and Eugène Damas (1844-1899). He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français since 1898 as well as at the Salon d'Hiver and the Salon des Indépendants. Eugène Thiery was originally from Rethel (Ardennes). Our painting certainly represents one of the landscapes with which he used to embellish his canvases. Unframed. Good condition. 550 euros.
