"Gilded Wooden Base From The Late 19th Century"

Gilded wooden base, L XVI style, executed at the end of the 19th or very beginning of the 20th century, ideal for highlighting a sculpture. It is rectangular in shape decorated with a laurel frieze on three sides. A 0.5 cm recess on the front and on the three sides accentuates its decorative aspect. The gold leaf gilding was executed in two shades of gold on the cross-shaped top. The gilding is original, it reveals the red glaze in a few small places.
