Rectangular box in red tortoiseshell and brass marquetry, Nap III period. The center of the lid is slightly domed and circled in bronze with pearl decoration, while the edge is beveled. The 4 sides are marquetry. The interior is padded with dark blue moire. Very good condition of the marquetry. The model is inspired by the boxes made under L XIV.
