This very old mirror is in a largely authentic state of preservation. It has been The construction of the wooden frame and the fastening technique, as well as the state of preservation of the mirrors, still date back to the 17th century, i.e. to the time when the first mirrors were made of plate glass. The central field should have been the largest size that could be manufactured at that time as plate glass. Much of the fastening seems to have been done experimentally, which also indicates very early production. The glass shard is gray-brown, the ornamental screws are heavily oxidized. The engraving of the coat of arms seems to be of southern Italian origin. This field seems to have been completed later.
