Refined centerpiece composed of a hand-cut crystal bowl and a richly decorated silver base. The crystal features elegant fluted and lozenge patterns, while the silver mount is adorned with rocaille motifs, scrolls, ram heads, and two winged putti acting as side handles.
The base, with four elaborately decorated feet, provides both balance and vertical elegance to the whole composition, typical of the eclectic and neo-rococo style popular in late 19th-century Europe. The silver bears the "800" hallmark with the crescent moon and imperial crown, in accordance with the German silver standard introduced in 1886, confirming its German origin and dating to the late 19th century.
A decorative and eye-catching piece, perfect for enriching an antique table or console.
Excellent condition.
