In the foreground, on the right, a pond in which two cows are reflected, one of which seems to be looking at the painter.
The scene is peaceful and cheerful.
The work is signed lower left. It is in very good condition. On the back, there is one small restoration, invisible on the front. It is offered in a gilded and carved wooden frame from the early 20th century. It is in fair condition, with gilding retouches.
