Large Art Deco vase from the 1930s by Pierre Paulus de Chatelet. Very beautiful Art Deco vase decorated with a beautiful brown frieze on a light background. Signature of the artist on the back and dated 1929. Pierre Paulus 1889 1959 was a Belgian artist, painter and ceramist who attended the Royal Academy of Brussels and exhibited many times in Europe and the USA. After a very successful career he was knighted by the king in 1951. In summary, a very beautiful piece by this great artist in excellent condition with a very beautiful original patina giving a certain decorative effect and typical Art Deco.
