"18th Century Dressing Table Stamped Migeon"
Mid-century dressing table finished on these 4 sides from the Louis XV period sometimes called "powder" in satin in amaranth frames stamped MIGEON 1696-1758 received master around 1725 with the JME jurade hallmark. Dressing table curved on 3 sides with the front called "arbalette". It rests on four arched legs ending in closed sabots in chiseled and gilded bronze and with a typical MIGEON characteristic which is a cut side inside the legs which makes them very light in appearance. It opens on the front with 4 drawers, one of which still has its inkwell and a writing pull covered with green leather struck with a gold sheathing on its edge. The top which opens in three parts is decorated with three Louis XIV scroll motifs in amaranth on a satin background developed in four leaves.
