"HEITZMANN Antoine Alsatian artist of the 20th century (1910-1998)" Antoine HEITZMANN (1910-1998) is one of the most talented Alsatian artists of the 20th century. At the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, his teachers were Schneider and Schltz. He joined the Académie Julian in Paris in 1938 under the direction of Professors Untersteller and Souverbie. Painter, master glassmaker and decorator, Antoine Heitzmann has greatly contributed to the reputation of Alsatian Art; His technique is characterized by a very wide variety of style and support.
