Predella: Painting, oil on pine wood, gilt leaf. Representation of the Last Supper with Christ and the twelve apostles. Style between late Gothic and early Renaissance. The golden halos and ornamental elements in the background emphasize the sacred character of the scene. Impressive work of a painter-artist from South Germany or Bohemia, between 1500-1530. The painting of the Predella is in its original state, but it shows partial damage such as chips and gaps. In three places (small squares), the pictorial layer has been cleaned and revarnished by a professional restorer.
