Satyress playing with a child satyr Terracotta medallion, diameter: 27 cm French school of the 19th century, after Claude Michel, known as Clodion (1738-1814) This work is inspired by a bas-relief by Claude Michel, known as Clodion, entitled Satyress playing with a child satyr on either side of a garland having surrounded a bull's-eye, made in 1782. The original, in stucco, measures 202 cm high by 410 cm wide and is kept at the Louvre Museum, in Paris.
