"Bavarian Childish Carelessness...early 20th Century"
Oil painting on canvas that exudes the tranquility of life, a summer afternoon in Bavaria, during the holidays or a day off school in any case. In the shade of the chalet, the family farm, grown-up children are making and flying a kite. The small paint losses due to age and lack of preparation of the canvas do not detract from the feeling... But given the period, the dark and misty distance of the canvas background does not bode well. The canvas is framed under glass in an oval frame of blackened wood.
