"White Gold And Platinum Brooch, Diamonds - Art Deco Period"
Superb brooch in white gold and platinum, in the shape of a stylized knot, emblematic of the geometric refinement and elegance of the Art Deco era. This jewel, in an incredible state of preservation, is sumptuously adorned with: 10 emerald-cut diamonds, 22 round diamonds, and 45 other round diamonds, for a total of approximately 3.50 carats, in old cut, with beautiful F/G colors. The closing system is pump and hook, perfectly functional. Gross weight: 13.95 g. Dimensions: 4.5 cm high - 3.2 cm wide. This rare jewel bears three official hallmarks: a workshop hallmark, a master hallmark, and the eagle's head, guaranteeing 18-carat gold. Provenance: this treasure was acquired in the 1930s by its former owner from a Parisian jeweler. Barely out of its safe, this is a real rediscovery. A collector's item in impeccable condition.
