Solid Silver And Rosewood Saucepan, Minerva Hallmark, Goldsmith Alfred Hector 1881 - 1913
Artist: Maître Orfèvre Alfred Hector 1881 - 1913
Very elegant solid silver saucepan from the early 20th century, hallmarked with a rosewood handle.
We can see the beginnings of Art Nouveau in the shape of the handle as well as in the part in which the handle is fixed while the saucepan is still inspired by the shapes of the previous century with its net border.
Beautiful piece, a mixture of the 19th and 20th centuries.
It is in excellent condition.
Very slight play in the handle, in no way affecting its quality or use.
Dimensions:
Neck diameter without spout: 10.4 cm.
Height: 5.5 cm.
Handle length: 11 cm.
Total weight including handle: 187.7 g.
