Paris, Roret, 1859, in-18 of VIII-316 pages, 4 plates on 2 unfolding sheets and containing 33 figures on the exterior, the fittings, the harness and the age. Half tan calfskin binding, smooth spine decorated with gilded fillets and title.

Mr Alexis de Gabriac. Count Jean Alexis de Cadoine de Gabriac, born May 9, 1811 and died August 31, 1890 at the Château de Lantilly, was a diplomat and great French traveler and Minister Plenipotentiary of France to Mexico from 1854 to 1860, he tried throughout his ministry to convince Count Walewski and Napoleon III of a French intervention in Mexico, which did not arrive until 1861. to end the civil war.
