"Renaissance Style Inkwell, 19th Century"
Inkwell in the shape of a spider crab in bronze. The bronze is based on a model that the city of Padua and particularly the sculptor Riccio made a specialty of in the 16th century. The small bronzes cast from life thus reproduced crustaceans (crab, spider crab, crayfish) with the most perfect naturalism. The articulated upper shell conceals a small ink reservoir. Period of this inkwell: 19th century. Shipping costs to France by Colissimo with tracking: 35 euros.
