19th Century Curved Walnut Corner Cabinet In Louis XV Style

Beautiful, strongly curved corner cupboard in solid walnut in the Louis XV style.
A beautiful corner cupboard with strongly curved and molded woodwork.
It opens on the front with two curved and molded doors with flat bands.
These doors are shaped like a gendarme hat at the top and frame a molded and sculpted circle on the upper crosspiece.
The lower crosspiece is also molded and sculpted. The curve is very pronounced.
The top is nicely worked and accommodates a curved and removable solid walnut shelf.
The backs are original as are the fittings and the lock and the key which works.
It is possible to present this piece of furniture without its upper shelf.
No restoration to report.
Beautiful patina of the blond walnut with wax.
No insect attack but a preventive treatment was carried out in the workshop.
