Elegant oil on canvas signed by Giuseppe Gagliardi (Bologna, 1902 – 2005), depicting a gently rolling countryside scene, likely inspired by the hills of Emilia-Romagna.
The painting features a winding path flanked by cypress trees and rustic farmhouses, rendered with warm natural light and soft tonal transitions. The oil technique is masterfully handled with nuanced layers and fluid brushwork.
Signed lower right, the painting is housed in a period gilt frame with linen mat. A beautiful example of Italian landscape art from the 20th century.
