Baluster Vase with Wide Foot by Le Verre Français – “Amarantes” Pattern
This striking baluster vase by Le Verre Français features a wide foot and an original form, narrowing in the center before flaring into a bulbous body.
The “Amarantes” décor consists of stylized fox-tail-like flower clusters and foliage, acid-etched and wheel-engraved from layers of red and violet glass over an opaque yellow background.
There is a firing flaw at the foot.
