Art Deco Table Lamp By Daum And Edgar Brandt

Elegant Table Lamp – Collaboration between Daum Nancy and Edgar Brandt, circa 1925

This refined table lamp is the result of a collaboration between the renowned Daum glassworks in Nancy and master ironworker Edgar Brandt, around 1925.

The multilayered marbled glass shade, in rich tones of orange and amber, is signed Daum Nancy France with the Cross of Lorraine.

The hammered wrought iron base, signed E. Brandt, features decorative elements typical of his style, including stylized organic forms and raised relief motifs.

Signature: "Daum Nancy France" on the shade; "E Brandt" on the base

Condition: Chips at the base of the shade due to contact with the metal fitting; otherwise in good condition
