"Very Large Silver Ghau Travel Reliquary Tibet "
Very large and rare in its size Ghau travel reliquary in embossed silver decorated with chimeras and other Buddhist attributes, a Buddhist deity in terracotta inside as well as the prayer cloths which must have been replaced over time and are later than the reliquary. The back is in copper, practically complete with its embroidered silk case as well as the shoulder strap, the glass in front of the deity is missing. The name of the former owner printed inside the case. Former French collection, collected in India in the 70s, very good condition
