Rare portrait of a man in the expressionist style in the middle of his period (1910/1920) by the artist Robert Mortier (1878-1940). A great friend, among others, of the painter Gabriel Deluc and Apollinaire, of whom he painted a portrait kept at the BNF in Paris, the latter also praised the painter in his art criticism. A mysterious and avant-garde artist oscillating between cubism and expressionism, whose works are rare, monogram at the bottom left, countersigned on the stretcher
