"Moustier 18th Century: Large Plate With Green Monochrome Decoration"
Large plate (26.5 cm) in 18th century southern earthenware with a scalloped edge and covered with an elegant soft green decoration, centered on a hunter blowing a horn, foliage on the rim and strewn with amusing butterflies. It bears on the back numerous marks, intertwined L and O which could well be Olerys and Laugier, but in a style that I had not encountered, accompanied by an F which is certainly the mark of the painter. Next to it two small marks are added, with a meaning that I do not know, to the previous ones. Tiny chips on the edge, otherwise very good condition.
