Beautiful baluster-shaped pewter OIL JUG with pedestal, curved overflow with sides and a top lid with a molded crested thumbpiece.
Hallmark of Nicolas SCHWALLER active from 1810: FIN / crown / NS
Height: 21.2 cm.
LYON, First half of the 19th century.

In good condition, a well-executed repair under the upper attachment of the handle is however indicated by yellow arrows on the photographs.
