"19th Century Chinese Or Indochina Cabinet, Ironwood, Mother-of-pearl Marquetry Inlay"
This late 19th century cabinet is probably Chinese or Indochinese. The mother-of-pearl inlays are sumptuous, we find them on all surfaces, floral decoration and character. It opens and forms a dressing table, with six drawers. Regarding the condition, we note folds on the metal, clearly visible in the photos, some minimal lacks of mother-of-pearl, the wood has moved a little. We do not have the key to the drawer. Note that one of the drawers on the front needs to be reglued. The mirror is beveled but unfortunately stained. One of the side hinges needs to be tightened. This cabinet is still a magnificent object. We tried to take all the defects in photos, please detail them. The photos are an integral part of the description.
