Amazigh jewel : Jewel made by the Berber peoples from antiquity to the present day, often in molded silver, carved or with inlays of mother-of-pearl, coral or enamels. The peculiarity of this goldsmith is the fact of being able to create pieces of gigantic sizes. They are very often of three colors: green, yellow and blue. The green represents the sowing, the yellow the harvest and the blue the floods. The jewel plays an important role in the feminine social life and is a complement of the costume. Most of these jewels (fibulae, bracelets, earrings) are worn in pairs.
