Pair of decorative ewers in richly carved alabaster. Circular pedestal on a square base. The ovoid body carved on the front with a cup of a branch of flowers flanked by flowering branches, between two large acanthus friezes. The neck has a spout in the shape of an animal's mouth with a swan's neck handle with leafy attachments.
Italy Voltera, second half of the 19th century.

They are presented on a straight alabaster ogee base (one with onyx plaque). H x W for the ewers: 116 x 41 cm Total height with the bases 174 x 41 cm
Condition report: very good general condition, only a few small losses. The particularity of this pair of ewers is its size (174 cm) and its good general condition.
