Bauche Léon-charles, "bather At The Lake" Around 1920/30.
Oil on canvas framed by Léon-Charles BAUCHE (1878-1963). A lot of serenity in this painting. An atmosphere and a landscape characteristic of the artist for these bathers at the edge of a body of water, with a softness of the wills, and tones. Léon-Charles Bauche exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants since 1905, at the Salon d'Automne in 1907, at the Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1910 to 1930 and became associated in 1923. He exhibited several works at the retrospective of the Indépendants of 1926. Period whitewashed wood frame.
