Louis XV Period Console In Gilded Wood
Small console table in carved and gilded wood, resting on two arched console legs, with motifs of foliated and openwork curves and counter-curves.
The two legs are joined by a crosspiece carved with an openwork rocaille shell.
The belt, also openwork, has a decoration of rocailles and acanthus in a sinuous shape.
It is topped with a very beautiful (later) yellow marble veined with red and gray.
Work from the Louis XV period.
Some wear and restorations to the gilding.
