Large solid silver ewer, ovoid in shape, resting on three applied feet decorated with palm fronds and ending in lion's paw feet.
It is adorned with a frieze from which the spout extends, terminating in a swan's head.
The lid is finished with a pine cone finial, and the ebony handle is beautifully carved.
French work, hallmarked with the old man mark.
Silversmith: Charles Antoine Armand LENGLET, registered on October 25, 1823, and cancelled in 1843.
Very slight dents to the body, damage to the handle.
