"Leon Bellemont (1866-1961) Watercolor "young Breton Women Facing The Sea" "
Pencil and watercolor signed lower right, young Breton women in front of the sea. Dimensions 30x23cm visible and 49x42cm with the frame and its anti-reflective glass. A student of Léon Bonnat at the Beaux Arts in Paris, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1896 until 1956. He was noticed there for his Breton seascapes and was placed Hors Concours in 1925.
