Lovely Schneider cup in pink and purple opalescent glass with hammered wrought iron frame, dating from the 1920s/1925s, epic art deco. Charles Schneider, born February 23, 1881 in Château-Thierry and died January 7, 1953 in Épinay-sur-Seine (Seine), was a French master glassmaker of Art Deco, a student of Jean Daum in Nancy and creator of the art glass brand Le Verre français, with his brother Ernest Schneider (1877-1937). Note: a wrought iron ring is unsoldered, see photo.
