"Pair Of Glass Pitchers Signed Daum France – Art Nouveau Allegorical Subject"
A rare and elegant pair of pitchers in polychrome glass paste shaded with blue, purple, amber and honey, finely sculpted in the form of fantastical marine creatures: a man and a woman, each fused with a stylized fish body with lively and naturalistic lines, in the spirit of Art Nouveau. The upper part forms a flared opening finely decorated with volutes. The sinuous handle follows the shape of the figure. Both pieces are signed Daum France in relief on the side.
