Portrait of an Officer, Military Cavalry in view of the insignia. The subject seems to be an officer of a 19th century Italian army, before the Risorgimento, perhaps Piedmontese in view of the headdress. He wears a dark suit with silver buttons, his collar is decorated with embroidery. A plate in the shape of a crowned shield adorns his chest, as well as two collar buttons decorated with horse heads. Finally, a wheel decorates his headdress with chinstrap that he wears on his forehead. Oil on canvas (small accidents) Original frame (accidents) from the 19th century.
